It's true, the simplest way to earn money online is to sign up for a certain program and promote what the program is offering. This is called affiliate marketing as I'm sure you know. It's no wonder why people get into this kind of business. It's also no wonder that they want to take their marketing to a whole new level and become super affiliates.

Not all affiliate marketers are lucky enough to be apart of the elite super affiliate few.

Becoming a super affiliate for some people is anything but simple. But the more you think about it, super affiliates only require a commitment and promoting the most in demand products or services available on the market.

They also have certain characteristics that make them different from all the rest. So to become one, all you need is to master these characteristics and the rest of what affiliate marketing can do will be sure to follow.

Here are the characteristics that you need to become a super affiliate.

Keyword expert.

If you want to be a super affiliate, you first have to know the basic skills in using the proper keywords. Since this really is online marketing, people seem to only rely on keyword searches in popular search engines.

So to be a success, make sure you choose the right keywords related to your affiliate program or product. Also learn what keywords to avoid. These keywords will help you choose which affiliate product or service to best promote. The better you become at isolating keywords, the more productive you will become and the more money you will make.

Good writing skills.

Most super affiliates are not the best writers in the world. They just work hard to make sure that the content or sales copies they create are one of the best, because these will be the first things people will see.

If you are not good with words, you can hire a ghostwriter to do the content for you. For a small fee, you can get quality content and sales letters that are not only captivating but also produce great results for your marketing. There are a lot of people that can write killer content if you cannot write it yourself.

Getting targeted traffic.

I don't care if you have the best program, strategy or content, it will all be a waste if you cannot get targeted traffic to your sites. Super affiliates can do this effectively and proficiently, and they are always on the lookout for other ways to generate new traffic.

Super affiliates know not to drive traffic straight to the merchant's site. They know the traffic should first go through their lead capture page. Then if the customer is interested in what you have to offer, they can fill out a form and then be redirected to the merchants site.

Customers come first.

A super affiliates main goal is to not only get the customers, but it should also be to give the best possible service to get a customers satisfaction. Many new affiliate marketers do not consider this. Their reason is that they think it's merchants responsibility to satisfy the customers.

Satisfied customers can turn into long-term loyal customers. Being an affiliate marketer, it is your duty to give them the satisfaction they require not just for the merchant but for you as well.

You will probably run into customers that are not very easily pleased. Just try your best by giving them your top service. You may be pleasantly surprised with the result.

A super sales person.

Not only should you be concerned about the product or services you are offering, you should start with yourself. Before you start marketing anything, you first have to know how to market yourself.

Super affiliates know they need to brand and prove themselves first before they will become successful at promoting anything. They do this by truly understanding the promotions they make. They also know how to build trust and a good relationship with their customers.

These are the things that set super affiliates apart from the rest.

What can we do to save the planet that will really make a difference?
By: Shop To Earn | 01-08-2008
What can we do to save the planet that will really make a difference? We can all join Shop To Earn / Shop To Earth How: Shop To Earth is a new company that launched their website in March 2008. In four months it has grown to over 15,000 members. (5,000 in the last three weeks). At this rate there will be roughly 200,000 to 300,000 members by September 2008. The business model of this company states that as a requirement of your membership, starting in September 2008, you and your group must spend $100 a month on green products. That's approx. $20,000,000 overall per month, that all these current members will be spending on green products. The structure of the company is based on MLM marketing. Thousands are joining and will continue to join, and all of them must purchase green products every month. When you join, you are buying your own website shopping portal. On one side of your business are approx. 500 online retailers like Target, Walmart, Sears, Overstock etc. On the other side of your business are approx. 100 green companies.  It took $4.00 a gallon gas to convince American consumers to sell gas guzzlers and buy fuel efficient vehicles because they were forced to change. If the Shop To Earn / Shop To Earth membership grows to a million people in one year as predicted and they must buy $100 a month in green products, that's $100,000,000 a month spent on green products that would normally have been spent on products more harmful to the environment. You can help make a significant positive impact in saving the planet and make a great income while doing it. If you are committed to a greener planet, you can play a part by owning your own website.  Join Shop To Earn / Shop To Earth now.To learn more go to my website at  http://www.shoptoearn.net/brianboy  , click on my picture in the lower left corner, then click on "overviews". Response to: The Golden Age of Digital Marketing - 23 July 2008
By: Ray | 25-07-2008
89N The Golden Age of Digital Marketing - 23 July 2008 It was with much interest that I read the report on the Netimperative Directors? Dinner discussing the golden age of digital marketing. I completely agree that the marketing profession faces many challenges in its ambition to be taken seriously at the highest levels of business. As the various speakers highlighted, one of the key challenges is the perception of what marketing is. Recent research carried out for The Chartered Institute of Marketing by Ipsos MORI revealed that 73 per cent of working marketers surveyed believed there was a large gap between the reality of what marketing does and how it is seen by other parts of the business. Until marketing is recognised as a key driver of value in organisations, it will struggle to gain the respect of other professional business colleagues. However, marketing must earn that respect. As highlighted by several speakers, marketers must reach out to colleagues in other functions and those at a senior level, and communicate clearly with them the value they create for the organisation, in terms they understand ? which in boardrooms is predominantly financial. The Institute continues to promote the profession and attempt to change attitudes towards marketing in the wider business community. It has established links with various government departments to promote professional marketing, and has developed professional marketing standards that employers can benchmark their employees against. The drive towards proper recognition and respect for the vital role marketing has to play in today?s organisations has to start with greater accountability and clearly demonstrating the value marketers create. I am in no doubt that digital marketing, with its greater measurability, will be in the vanguard of marketers? increasing acceptance at the top table. Ray Jones The Chartered Institute of Marketing 25 July 2008

Small Scale Affiliate Marketing
By: Shikina | 22-07-2008
I'm looking to establish a direct affiliate relationship between myself (the affiliate) and one specific retailer that I deal with regularly. They're not looking for any other affiliates other than myself, but I need this to be a software-based solution. Anybody know of any generic code out there that I could modify and pass off to the partner? Are there any other solutions that don't involve paying huge upfront costs, or a recurring commission to a 3rd party network? Your help is greatly appreciated!
