You heard that it is easy to make money online, you spend hundreds hiring people to build a nicely designed website, and you choose the hot affiliate product to promote in your website, you thought everything is great, until the time you realize this, there is nobody there to visit your website.
Yes, traffic is the reason that makes most people fail to make money online. They thought that making money online is easy; all you need to do is to set up a beautiful website, and put your affiliate links in it. If you are doing this, I can bet that you will not make much money online. In fact, a beautifully designed website is not that important. What determine your incomes online are traffic and conversion rate.
The Solution for Traffic Generation
Driving traffic may seem like a tedious work. Actually, driving traffic to your website is easy, as long as you take action, traffic will come. It has to come; there is no way traffic will not come after you have submitted 10 articles into article directories, right? So the number one rule to drive massive traffic to your website is to take massive action. As easy as that, don’t make it complicated.
Another thing is this, traffic generation is about marketing. You know that marketing is important, and that is why so many huge companies spend millions and millions of dollars into marketing their products and services. To run marketing correctly, you must do things creatively and different with others.
For example, if you are using article marketing to drive traffic to your website, what you will usually do is submit a few articles into article directories, and hope for people to come. Will this work? Think about it, there are hundreds of people doing the same thing exactly what you did. Can you compete with them? Will traffic come from what you did? Not likely, because there are hundreds of people are doing the same thing.
So you see, this is not the right way of doing marketing. If you are submitting articles to article directories, it is not article marketing, it is article submitting. The same if you are using social book marking sites to drive traffic. Do you think that just bookmark it, Digg it, and Stumble will bring you massive traffic? There are tons of people doing these things. So get creative, do the marketing different ways. You don’t want to do the same thing just like everybody else is doing.
This is why most people fail to make more money online. They have the wrong concepts about internet marketing. Remember, if you are committed in making money online, then you must learn all these skills. Your internet business cannot survive without them.
