Asthma Wheezing Natural Treatment at Home

Swelling of respiratory tract is called Asthma, which is a chronic ailment affecting people of all age groups. Millions of people the world over suffer due to asthma and every year a few lacs are dyeing due to asthma.

Don't worry : Asthma is naturally curable at home using natural remedies.

When the air passage is inflamed, it will allow only less quantity of air to pass through. This will lead to the asthmatic symptoms such as breathing difficulty, wheezing, cough and tightness of chest.

Children are more vulnerable to asthma. Asthmatic parents, premature birth, Caesarean, unhealthy surroundings, allergies, eczema, atopic dermatitis, exposure to tobacco smoke etc are the reasons for children to become victims of asthma.

Indoor allergies such as fungi, dust mites, cockroaches, fumes of enamels and paints, animal proteins, nitrogen oxide from gas stoves etc will cause asthma. Outdoor reasons are cold weather, pollution due to sulphur dioxide, nitrogen oxide, ozone, high humidity etc. Air pollution and smoking are the two main reasons for asthma.

Symptoms of asthma get worse during night, cool climate, when exposed to allergens and while doing exercise.

As precaution to prevent asthmatic attack, cover mouth and nose with scarf during cold climate, keep bed room free of allergens and dust, avoid foods that will trigger asthma, avoid use of perfumes and change filter of air conditioner periodically.

Asthma can be diagnosed by doctors with medical history of the patient and his or her family, checking the running nose and swollen air passage, testing of breathing using stethoscope as well as spirometer.

Asthmatic people will suffer a lot due to wheezing. Whenever there is asthmatic attack, wheezing will occur. The patient can get relief from wheezing by curing the asthma by way of proper treatment.

Natural treatment is found to be the best remedy for asthma. They are in the form of home remedies and they provide quick relief from wheezing as well as other respiratory problems.

There are various methods of natural remedies for asthma which can be done at home.

Boil teaspoons of fenugreek seeds in a glassful of water till it is reduced to one third of the quantity. Drink the solution daily once. This is a powerful remedy for asthma.

Make a paste of rock salt with old ghee or mustard oil. By rubbing the paste on chest asthmatic attack can be prevented.

Boil a few drumstick leaves in a bowl of water for 3 to 4 minutes and then strain the solution. Add a little salt, pepper and lemon juice into that. Drink the mixture twice daily to get relief from wheezing.

Boil water containing a few Bishop's weed seeds and the fumes come out inhale for a few minutes continuously. This is a very effective remedy for asthma.
