There are three kinds of toxins that are known in Ayurveda-ama, garvisha and amavisa. Of the three, Ama is the most common of all. Ama is the kind of waste that we accumulate inside our bodies when the food that we take in goes through incomplete digestion. Whenever we eat foods that we aren't used to ingesting, we get indigestion which signals that we have accumulated Ama toxins.
