Bay Laurel Herb For Superb Health

Posted: Jun 20, 2010 |Comments: 0 | Views: 228 |

This wonderful herb is a native to the Mediterranean region and also Asia minor.  This herb has been prized for its beauty and aromatic qualities by the Romans.  Let's take a look at why the bay laurel herb is so superb for your health.

Millions of Americans are troubled by dandruff, but now there is a remedy that not too many people even know about, that actually works and it's the humble bay laurel herb.  What you want to do is make a strong tea out of the crushed bay leaves and let it sit for half an hour. After that you can strain it and began washing your hair with it.

If you have any of this concoction left, simply refrigerate it.  The key is to massage the bay laurel liquid into your scalp and let it sink in.  I would let it set for about a half an hour in your scalp and then wash it out.  If you keep doing this everyday consistently, it should stop your dandruff dead in its tracks!  Got to love those old folklore remedies!

One of the best remedies for bronchitis is using the bay laurel herb, because the oil in the leaves is extremely powerful.  By taking the leaves and making a poultice, you will have a miraculous bronchial healer!  What you want to do is apply the poultice to the chest of the person suffering from bronchitis and do this until the person is healed.  Please consult your doctor before using any natural therapies.  Below I will continue on with how to use the bay laurel poultice.

Remember, the skin is the largest area for herbs to absorb through effectively.  I would cover over the poultice with a cloth and do this each day repeatedly, until the bronchitis is possibly healed.  This is an old-time healing method, but one that is so greatly needed today!

I would suggest that everyone purchase a good organic oil of bay from your favorite health food store or a trusted online herbal company.  Oil of bay is very effective against arthritic aches and pains.  This wonderful herb may possibly bring you relief from swellings and inflammation, by simply applying it topically to the aggravated areas.

I would rub the oil on the areas that are painful everyday.  It's also effective to rub the oil on varicose veins.  I've even read in certain medicinal herb books, that it may help bring relief to lower back pain.  The all-natural chemical properties found in the bay oil, seem to do the unbelievable, when it comes to healing.  If you would like to learn my herbal secrets and my superior gardening tips click here!

The idea of having tiny versions of every herb at your fingertips is appealing. Pruning and pinching will keep plants compact and bushy, but some herbs are meant to grow three feet tall. A mini herb garden is a collection of herbs grown in a compact space. Confining the herbs to a small planting bed or to a collection of pots will make your herb garden miniature. Potted herbs grow well both indoors and out with the right amounts of light, water and proper soil.
