Find Energy healing programs in the United States and Canada. What is it that draws individuals to unique healing arts like energy healing? Aside from the effectiveness of helping in self-healing, energy healing programs offer individuals a variety of interdisciplinary fields of the art including breathwork, chakra balancing, distance healing, pranic healing, Reiki, and Vaastu, among others.

One of the more popular energy healing programs taught is Reiki. First, Reiki stems from a natural healing system, which is intended to promote holistic harmony (mind, body and spirit). Students who enroll in Reiki energy healing programs learn how to use the palms of the hands as energy conductors. Additionally, students learn how to give Reiki attunements, which are ritual in nature. Typically, Reiki involves 12 foundational hand placements; including the face, crown and top of head, back of the head, chin and jaw line, among other body positions. In these particular courses of study, students participate in varying levels of training, including Master Reiki practitioner status.

Other energy healing programs like distance healing are slowly gaining leeway in the holistic healthcare community. Often facilitated by "intuitive healers," distance healing is initiated through intent, Divine love, prayers, and quantum touch. Individuals interested in learning how to administer distance healing should practice visualizations, guided imagery, breathing exercises, and meditation techniques to help others in journeys to self-healing.

Similar to Feng Shui, Vaastu is yet another teaching offered in energy healing programs. Students participating in Vaastu courses learn how this Hindu healing art helps individuals find the proper arrangement of the building of your home or other structure. For example, if you would like a serene and calm bedroom, you might wish to build your master bedroom in the Northwest quadrant of the home, as this position is tied to the Moon, and the Lord of the Air; which helps keep your bedroom a peaceful place. While this is just one example of the many ways Vaastu affects life, energy healing programs that teach Vaastu will instruct several other unique architecture tips and techniques to building a placid and health environment in which to live and work.

Chakra balancing is another course of study extended through energy healing programs. Individuals participating in this class will discover a wide range of interesting facts and philosophies surrounding this fascinating healing art. For instance, were you aware that chakras are our energy centers? Like a funnel for energy flow, chakras allow energy to flow into and out of the body harmoniously. However, when flow is blocked, this is where the balancing act comes into play. In chakra energy healing programs, students get an introduction to the seven major chakras including the Root chakra, sacral chakra, solar plexus chakra, heart chakra, throat chakra, third-eye chakra, and the crown chakra -- and subsequently, learn how to apply specific energy healing methods to the body to restore energy flow balance.

While aforementioned studies are just a sampling of the great diversity and assortment of the many energy healing programs available today, aspiring energy healers can also check into associated healing arts like reflexology, acupuncture, acupressure, chiropractic, and therapeutic touch, among others; which all have a component of energy healing theories and philosophies.

If you (or someone you know) are interested in finding energy healing programs, let professional training within fast-growing industries like massage therapy, cosmetology, acupuncture, oriental medicine, Reiki, and others get you started! Explore energy healing programs near you.
