The human immune system is the best invention. It works like a sensor that detects intruders such as viruses, bacteria, parasites and other disease-causing germs.

A strong immune system helps you in the daily stress management. Support your immune system and it is grateful to you.

Immune System your own Protect Wall

The immune system is our own protecting wall (guard wall) against viruses, parasites, bacteria and any kind of other enemy that the human body may assault.

I see this as a very complex network of tissues, organs, cells, and chemicals that protects the body from infection and illness. All play a role and build our immune system as lymphatic system, spleen, bone marrow, thymus gland, and tonsils, white blood cells, antibodies, and interferon.

Every day we need enough sleep, that our body and the immune system get new strength for the tasks of the next day.

Our immune system never sleeps. Therefore, be good to your immune system, then its protection will be much more effective against viruses, bacteria, fungi, parasites. Our food contains many natural compounds such as arabinogalactan, arginine, provitamin A, that helps our immune system to be more attentive.

Stress decreases the NK Cells Activity

The immune system is a very important "control center" of stress.

The hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis is the middle point of stress. Ours immune system, must be enough powerful because it watches & guides this axis.

Stress is known to affect the immune system reducing neutrophil activity, decreases cytotoxic T-lymphocytes and the natural killer cell activity (NK Cells). Also a bad intestinal flora can weak our immune system.

Chronic stress is a big problem for your immune system, because this type of stress increases the secretion of the catecholamine nor-adrenaline and/or the stress hormone cortisol. A too high concentration of them decreases the activity of your own protect wall (immune system). In case of too much chonic stress you can be sure that our immune system is down.

Arabinogalactan - Fitness for your Immune System

Arabinogalactan is a natural type of sugar and stimulates immune cells and promotes the growth of probiotic bacteria like lactobacillus and bifido.

You can find this immune system power stuff in several foods such as tomatoes, carrots, pears, coconut, leek, onion, spinach, broccoli, avocado, eggplant, mango, apples, apricot, banana, radish, wheat, turmeric, rice.

Garlic modulates the immune system and kills Parasites

Garlic contains a cocktail of compounds like Ajoene, Allicin and an organic sulphur complex that works as immunmodulator.

Garlic also promotes the growth of probiotic bacteria like lactobacillus. Chlorophyll is a green pigment used by plants to absorb sun light and realize the process of photosynthesis. This process is the transfer of sun energy to chemical bond energy in organic substances. Chlorophyll you can find in any kind of greens like green salads, green vegetables, fresh and dried wheat grass, barley grass, kamut grass.

NK-cells (Natural killer cells) are a type of white blood cells and are important because they fight parasites, bacteria and viruses. Eat more raw greens, which are rich in chlorophyll and activate your own protect wall (immune system).

In my work as Chef for the totally raw diet cancer cure by Dr. Jerry-Lee Hoover, I learned, that raw food boosts the immune system and this can fight against cancer. At the moment I`m creating healthy recipes for the Detoxification Program, by Dr. Janet Hull, Ph.D., USA. She recommends raw food – 75 % raw food in each meal as well. Also for detoxification processes is a strong immune system an important basic, because a strong immune system helps the body in detoxifying and helps in the excretion of the toxins.

Carrot Juice supports your Immune System

It contains lots beta carotene that increases the production of T-cells and natural killer cells (NK-cells). Arabinogalactan stimulates immune cells and promotes the growth of probiotic bacteria like lactobacillus and bifido.

Lemon Juice and Lemon Oil - a fantastic boost for your NK-Cells

Whole lemons juice (juiced including seeds and peel) stimulates natural killer cells (NK-Cells) production and is a natural boost for our immune system, because NK-Cells are a type of lymphocyte (a white blood cell) and a component of innate immune system.

D-Limonene boost the immune system

Most essential citrus oils contain at least 60% D-limonene. The best sources of them you can find in the essential oils such as Grapefruit, Lemon, Lime, Orange, Clementine, and Tangerine. According to rodent studies has this natural compound of citrus oils immunostimulant effects such as stimulating lymphocyte proliferation, increasing the total white blood cell count, increasing the number and phagocytic activity of macrophages and stimulating antibody production. Also the Natural killer cell activity was enhanced in vitro by d-limonene.

By the way D-limonene in orange essential oil is effective in fighting melanoma, liver, breast, lung, and pancreatic cancers.

Vitamin C supports your immune system

Everybody know that vitamin C stimulates the production of white blood cells and this increases the ability to destroy bacteria.

Vitamin C regulates histamine levels too. An excessively high histamine levels may reduce the immune system.

Essential oil of orange increases the absorption of vitamin C. A combination both of them is very effective, because it supports your immunity to fight colds and flu.

Best sources of vitamin C you can find in Dragon fruit, oranges, tangerines, lemons, fresh kiwi fruit and dried kiwi, mango, papaya and guava, broccoli, spices like green pepper and red pepper, parsley.

Nuts stimulate your Natural Killer Cells

Nuts such as hazelnuts, almonds are rich of the amino acid Arginine. Arginine can stimulate the immune system's natural killer (NK) cells.
It helps your immune system to increase the output of T-lymphocytes (T-cells) from the thymus gland. Nuts are tasty and as you can read healthy as well, therefore nuts are a great between meal.
