Billions are spent by pharmaceutical companies in hope of adding vigor to an aging population. Medicine men and witch doctors have mixed and brewed thousands of plants for centuries in hope of finding that right combination. They even resorted to chanting in order to restore vitality to elder tribesman. Their failure to produce results caused many of them to be put to death, for that reason being a witchdoctor or medicine man was a dangerous occupation. The modern doctor who does not produce results winds up with a lost patient, and can only be put to death by a frustrated lunatic who was not helped.

We all go down hill as we age, and most of us wind up in a wheelchair or use a walker. It is difficult to accept a body or mind that refuses to function correctly, or at all. Senior citizens look to their doctors and pharmaceutical companies to save them. But they can only hope for the quick discovery of a performance enhancing drug. It is sad to see elderly people hobbling along, some of them half blind, we would like to see them become strong and alert, but at present no medicine is available to help them. They can only pray for relief.

Professional athletes are another class of people that are searching for the wonder drug that will propel them into the million dollar winning circle. Better performance has become a god to them and they will go any length to obtain it. Some of them have gone to labs where animal experiments are taking place, and have paid large sums to lab technicians to obtain any drug that could possibly work. Since their use is illegal many careers have been destroyed because of this.

There are people that accept their limitations and are happy to do what is possible. If they no longer can do a fast dance they do a slow one, they can still enjoy the music and have a good time. Also there are athletes that accept their limits and wont take illegal drugs for that extra chance to be a winner. But most people refuse to except the hand that nature gave them to play and they hopefully await for the pharmaceutical industry
to discovers a new product.

There are thousands of medicines that promise to restore a persons health and vitality. Unfortunately not all of them work. Some do and have helped millions of people. The alternative medicine industry is one hope for people that have found that their doctor is not helping them. They might have the answer, give them a try.
