The Meaning of Pure Organic Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils

Many people have asked me what is the difference between Aromatic Oils, Essential Oils, Aromatherapy Oils and Pure Organic Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils. No wonder everyone wants to know, because TV commercials and Beauty magazines are promoting aroma-candles, aroma-sprays and other kinds of aromatic products.

Many stores sell essential oils and essential oil products, but not many companies mention that their product is made with pure organic therapeutic grade essential oils.

Almost always simple Aromatic Oils are made of synthetic substances and artificial fragrances, which were chemically attained. All these kind of “oils” will do is make our home smell pleasant for few hours, but then eventually they may damage to our respiratory health and put us at risk of developing allergic reaction, then do any good. This goes for all “aromatic” products out there – candles, incense sticks, perfumes, commercial air-fresheners etc…unless their label states that they contain only pure essential oils.

Unfortunately, even Essential Oils or Aromatherapy Oils can sometimes be adulterated. It is done in order to reduce the cost of the product and increase profit for their manufacturers. So beware if someone wants to sell you a bottle of Rose, Sandalwood, Ylang Ylang, Chamomile, Melissa Essential Oils at a very low price. Pure Essential Oils (especially the ones I mentioned) do no come cheap.

When we talk about Pure Organic Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils it means that these oils were made with organic herbal plant parts and distilled with help of hot water steam or CO2 and nothing else. Obviously, when you see a label of a product, which says something like "Ocean Mist" very unlikely this has been extracted from a plant, tree or herb. So put it back on the store shelf and walk away, it is surely a chemical substance.

There are couple of important things to remember when buying essential oils: it has to come in dark glass bottle (blue, green or brown), bottle must have a Latin name of the plant this particular oil was derived from and the country of origin where plant was harvested.

Pure Organic Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils will be available through companies who are deeply involved with Aromatherapy, are ready to provide any required certification and hopefully have a qualified and certified aromatherapies on stuff to help you choose all the right essential oils for any health issue.

At Natures Lovers we provide personal Aroma-Consultation and make custom blends after carefully evaluating our clients’ needs.

It was a wonderful crowd of ladies who were all about getting familiar with essential oils and aromatherapy. During our aromatic evening, few ladies kept asking me about essentials oils that may help with mental focus, concentration and memory issues. Four of the most important oils for mind stimulation in my opinion are Clary Sage, Rosemary, Bergamot and Peppermint.
