The cause of panic attack is still debated since the exact reason is unknown. Probable reason is our fast paced lifestyle. It is body's reaction to the amount of pressure we put in our brain. It is a way to tell you that you need to slow down a bit. To put it simply whenever we take a whole lot of pressure our body prepares itself for a defense only there is no one to fight against. Hormones controlling our body at this time reach its highest level of secretion resulting in panic attack. Therefore busy lifestyle of ours and the amount of stress that comes with it could be one of the reasons.  If you have just recovered from a long illness or from a surgery then you are inclined to panic attack also. If you have a family history of panic attacks disorders then you are in risk too! Many substances like slimming products, few medicines especially cold and flu, stimulants used in treating asthma and caffeine triggers this even more.

During an attack you may feel flushed, numb, weak, sweaty or chilled. The common symptoms of panic attack disorder heart palpitation, chest pain, dizziness, nausea, shortness of breath and abdominal distress. If you are experiencing these symptoms repeatedly then you are suffering from panic attacks disorder. The first attack happens unexpectedly and might be while you are following your normal routine of the day. After repeated attacks victim might feel left alone and often goes to depression. There is also the fear of next attack which might confine the sufferer to his home and withdrawal from the society. Many sufferers end up suffering from drug abuse..

If it is left untreated it could trigger many other disorders too. Panic attack happens between the ages of 20 to 40 but it is also seen among elders and children. If you understand your problem thoroughly it will help you regain control of your life. For that you can always seek the help of a doctor. Various therapy and relaxation technique are there which helps in curbing panic attacks disorder to a great extent.

Panic attack is not a pleasant experience. If we make few changes in our lifestyle and take sometime of our busy schedule to relax our mind we will notice some difference. Eating healthy and exercising is the best natural way to prevent any disorder. You should rebuild your life in such a way where you can eliminate or lessen your stress level and lead a happy life.
