A: Chad, you may be asking the wrong question. You shouldn't determine your career direction based on what is considered a good diploma or certificate. What if the answer turns out to be Metaphysics? Or Anthropology? Will you pursue that?
I think you should be starting your career search from a different starting point. You should be asking yourself some questions to determine what you are good at and what you enjoy, what type of environment you'd like to see your self in, etc. Then you can research various industries and see how your answers might fit that industry. It may turn out that you don't need a diploma at all. If you have a strong self-knowledge and decent networking skills, you could land a dream career on the strength of your own pursuits. I've published several articles on this site that might be very helpful to you, Chad.
They include:
Choosing a Career: What your past jobs can teach you about your future.
Career Choices: What Your Hobbies Say About You.
Choosing a Career: Consider Your Personal priorities.
There are several others, and I submit articles regularly, so visit often for more tips.
Hope this helps, and remember, start with what you know and enjoy... and your career will soar!
Best of luck!
