Hello, I'm making a website and am interested in making a flash introduction using window movie maker but am not sure how to import it on my site without it looking like a video... any ideas?

A: I don't think that you will be able to make a Flash introduction using Windows Movie Maker. You will need to import the video into Flash or another Flash based program to accomplish what you are needing, then you can embed the swf file into your website.

Flash is not search engine friendly and not popular. Why not use an image and some compelling text

A: Windows Movie maker WMM makes only wmv format movies. No Flash.
You could create your movie with WMM in wmv format and then convert it with any free conversion program to get it in the flash format or even swf (RIVA converter or Mediacoder). You can then stram it throught your website using JW player. But then looks as a video.
Now, if you want a real Flash intro (no player control panel) then you need to create your video with Adobe Flash maker program
