How many holes or rounds is one golf ball good for on average before you need to replace the ball?

A: I honestly don't know because all my golf balls have been lost in the rough or water before they've worn out.
I would guess that a golf ball can last over a year, but not two years.

A: I recommend you play six to eight rounds with a new ball, because they get scuffed up and also get the odd nick in it ,which affects the flight of the ball and when you are putting, buy inexpensive golf balls,they work just as good or close to it as the good balls
