A: People do tend to buy more food at the grocery store when they are hungry. If someone goes grocery shopping on an empty stomach they become tempted to buy everything in site especially the quick and easy junk food items. That is why one of the number one tips to save money when grocery shopping is to never go on an empty stomach.
