A: The Xtreme Fat Loss Diet works for both men and women and for both those who have a large amount of weight to burn and those with less than 10 pounds to get rid of.
A: I'd be careful with any diet claiming to be an "extreme" fat loss program. Check out the program and see what the "extreme" is. Does it include eliminating a certain macro-nutrient such as proteins, carbs, or fats? How many calories is it telling you you'll have to cut? Also, look at the testimonials. Are the testimonials made by real life "day-to-day" people, or are they actually fitness gurus. I looked at the diet you are inquiring about, and the diet does NOT explain what it entails. Furthermore, the testimonials are given by fitness gurus. All in all, I'd BEWARE! Anyone will try to make a buck.
Instead, try to stick to a "clean" diet. Not only will it help you lose fat fast, but it will help you live a healthy lifestyle. Clean eating includes foods like lean proteins, complex carbohydrates, and essential fats. Complex carbs should come from mostly dark green leafy and colorful veggies and metabolic boosting fruits like apples, pears, grapefruits, and berries. Whole grains can be eaten which include oatmeal, brown or wild rice, and sweet potatoes. However, limit these to "after" a great workout only while trying to lose weight. Have essential fats with all your meals and snacks EXCEPT for your meal after your workout. These include foods such as extra virgin olive oil, flaxseed, avocados, olives, walnuts, and almonds.
All in all, stay balanced and you won't go wrong! :)

A: In answer to Abby Campbell, this diet does not require you to cut out any nutrients or anything. It's just extreme in that it's intense, requires supplements to get the results and requires a fast day every 5 days.
You still get all your nutrients, and it's actually the only "diet" I ever recommend to anyone because in general I hate diets.
And in answer to your question Shona, no it's not based on a raw vegan diet at all. Nothing like that.
