There is no such thing as a free reverse phone number search. So why do they all say "free" since everybody charges fees, sometimes ridiculously high fees?

A: This is because the cell phone companies, unlike land line phones, charge a fee for other companies to access their cell phone databases. The free websites cannot afford these fees. Only the paid websites can provide accurate cell phone data, and its really pretty cheap, some of them only charge 99 cents.

A: Because people tend to click on things with the word "FREE" attached to it. It is a pure marketing trick.
