A: I have not run across any, nor heard of any that consistently deliver quality leads. Probably because there are too many scammers looking to make a quick buck off selling leads. Depending on what market you are looking at there may be some good sources, but I wouldn't bet on it.

Jacqueline,
Thank you for your comments. My niche has nothing to do with real estate and I know how difficult it is to find clients, especially in today's economy. I used to be in commercial real estate many years ago during the real estate boom in New York.

A: Louis,

If there were such a company that could produce high quality leads (meaning they fit your criteria for your target audience) for you on demand, you can bet that those leads will be very expensive. I suggest that you either generate your own leads through inbound marketing or hire a lead generation firm that uses inbound marketing as a way of generating those leads for you. If you are not familiar with inbound marketing, it is a system of tactics and techniques for pulling people to your own website using social media, search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimization (SEO), and blogging, and then converting these visitors into leads by using relevant offers with strong calls to action (often found on landing pages) and lead generation forms. Furthermore, inbound marketing software, such as Hubspot for example, will track the activities of your leads so you will know which activities, tactics, calls to action, etc. are working and which are not.

Inbound marketing is an ideal way of generating leads because 1) it attracts people who are specifically looking for the products and services you are selling- remember, they initiated the search, 2) it matches people's buying preferences by engaging them in useful, valuable education that solves their needs and/or explains your product or service to them in a non-salesy way until they are ready to buy or have a conversation with a sales person, and 3) the leads generated from inbound marketing cost about 60% less than leads generated through traditional, outbound advertising. That is a direct boost to your company's bottom line.

Gavin,
Thank you for your insight. I will do some homework on inbound marketing vs outbound marketing and their potential lead generation. I really appreciate you experience on this matter. I know there is no magic bullet and you have to try various techniques before you can find the combination that works. I know that article writing has brought in a steady stream of leads for me but 90% have been tire kickers. My company is extremely reputable amongst the hoards of scammers out in this same marketpl

Louis,

Thanks for your follow up remarks. There were 2 more paragraphs to my original answer that I had to cut off because the answer was too long. I continued my answer with a seperate comment that had links to blog posts with more information about inbound marketing. It might not clear the review process though because of those links. So if you want more information about inbound marketing go to Hubspot's website- they have a ton of resources. And go to my company's website and take a look at

Why pay someone when you can do it yourself. I have looked at the above comments and still cant figure out what your market is.

Set up a one page, two page website on the subject or where you want to target. The aim of this page is to get people to email you and register on the database - Lead generation.

Because the "microsite" is so specific and targeted (correctly optimised" you will rank well in search engines, then you target via, one or two specific keywords in google adwords, do not do more, this saves your budget.

This does work. At easter I ran a small microsite for a luxury chocolate maker and generated 40 000 contact emails and addresses in a two week period.

When the law changed in the UK over the right to sue over asbestos illnesses, I ran a two page microsite, with adwords and generated 18 000 addresses for the client.

Whats more is these people want to contact you, they have seen the site, liked your information and want more !!

A: Tim,
Thank you for your insight. I do have capture pages and a precise website but I am not savy on google adwords and have to see how to coordinate both to get the response that I would like. You seem to be right on target with our business. Any hints on how to get knowledgeable or find insider tricks on how to select those key words on adwords?

I am relatively new at this and want to do it correctly with the assistance of those who are successful.

Thanks again Tim.
