A: Benefits of becoming an architect would generally include a well above average income in many countries, the opportunity to exercise your creative influence on large, durable objects/structures and and engrossing/thought intensive education and career.

There is also a career stability, seen in many skilled and graduate fields which is not hurt by the fact that as long as people are building new things, there will be a need for well educated people to design them.
