A: For an effective deep breathing exercise, it is essential to keep your back posture straight and not lean either forward or backward. First release all the air from your nose. Then slowly breath air through your nose in a manner which makes your stomach virtually go inside. Now hold your breath for 10 to 20 seconds. The amount of time you can hold your breath can be increased with how comfortable you become by doing this exercise over time. Now release air through your nose. Repeat these steps for 5 minutes.
