Baby Boomers Live Forever or Die Trying

Watch TV or checkout the shelves of your local department store and you will confirm that we are the anti-aging society. The truth is that we live longer than previous generations. But Baby Boomers have raised this to an art form.

The desire to look young may be seen as vanity. For the Boomer generation it carries with it the virtue of idealism. There is an enthusiasm and optimism that tends to be young as well as to look young.

Baby Boomers work hard and play harder. They want the best life has to offer. They have flaunted conventional rules and made their own. These free spirits tried drugs, avoided marriage and had kids later than others.

As they approach retirement, sharing their expertise is at the top of their agenda. They look for retirement communities with lots of amenities and healthcare options. A fruitful life after retirement is the plan.

Boomers are quick to use supplements and dietary products. They have grown up with an obsession with exercise and fitness. But all the anti-aging products in the world will not keep birthdays from piling up.

Passion for youth in Baby Boomers great interest in skincare products. They have determined that youthful skin is worthy of time, energy and money.

Oral health has increased with this generation. Not only have we seen more dentists but this generation has provided many dentists. As these dental professionals begin to retire, there will be more patients and fewer practitioners.

As the Boomers age, there are still a large number of smokers. Some believe that it is too late to stop. But anytime is a good time to stop.

So Baby Boomers are doing their best to stay young and maintain their ideals. One area that sets them apart and keeps them together is the music. For this generation Rock and Roll isn't just about music. It's a lifestyle. They live life to the fullest and never sell out. The music never dies.
