Discover an Amazing Face Moisturizer

Let’s face it.  If your skin could naturally rejuvenate itself from the damage that the elements do to it you would not need to seek out an effective face moisturizer, but unfortunately your skin cannot recover on its own.  You need something that is going to help your skin to remain healthy, but the choices that you have out there are not good ones.

I say this because the majority of the skin care creams on the market will not help your skin at all, and will in fact many times only complicate the problems that you are having.  This is largely due to the fact that the major cosmetics corporations are not putting the ingredients that you need into their products.

The typical face moisturizer that you see advertised all over the television and the magazine pages may sound like the answer to all of your problems, but most of them will contain moisturizing agents that may actually damage your skin.  These ingredients are often used in order for the companies to keep their manufacturing costs low.

The most commonly used of these agents are the petroleum based moisturizers called mineral oil and petrolatum.  They are often advertised as natural ingredients, but this is only partially true.  They are byproducts of the process that turns crude oil into gasoline, and if there was no need for fossil fuels these agents would not exist at all.

Neither of these agents will work for you as an effective face moisturizer no matter what the cosmetics industry might tell you.  What they will do however is damage your skin by forming a thin, greasy film on the surface which will attract dirt, clog your pores, slow down the production of your skins natural oil, and will interfere with the natural exfoliation process.

Obviously, this is not what you want for your skin, which is why you should avoid products that contain either one of these ingredients.  What you need to do if you want for your skin to be its healthiest is seek out those products that contain plant based moisturizing oils such as grape seed, macadamia, and avocado oils.

If the effects of growing older have you concerned you can also find a face moisturizer containing these oils that include a mixture of proteins and extracts that will cause the production rate of your collagen and elastin to increase and that will also raise the levels of the hyaluronic acid that your skin has available.

This will erase most of the lines and wrinkles on your skin, because it is the loss of these three structural tissues that are mainly responsible for making you look older.  The rest is caused by free radical damage, which can be readily taken care of through the antioxidant properties that the plant based oils possess.

Make no mistake about it.  Make sure that the face moisturizer you choose is actually one that will have a positive effect on your skin.  Do not settle for anything less than all natural, and your skin will reap the rewards.
