A good night's sleep of 7 - 8 hours is essential for a healthy body for this is the time when maximum repair of organs and tissues in the body takes place. So, why not give your body a chance to repair itself as much as possible with at least 7-8 hours of sleep daily?

At advanced age, it become even more imperative to be fussy about right kind of nutrition. Are you consuming enough of broccoli, yoghurt, fruits and vegetables? Does your diet supply enough calcium for healthy bones? Are getting enough of essential nutrients? One needs to be informed about these kinds of things. If needed, do not hesitate to take supplements.

Each one of us must be fully conscious of the fact that the functioning of various organs in the body gradually slows down with time. Experts reckon that the rate of slow down is anywhere around 10 percent every ten years as we race past 25 years of age. This is definitely going to increase the aging effect.

The ideal way to delay aging is to lead a healthy and active lifestyle coupled with right nutrition.
