Human growth hormone produced by recombinant DNA technology is traditionally provided through injections in the bloodstream. Injections, however, have their own load of complications. Firstly, an injection cannot be practiced by normal, untrained individuals. It requires the help of a nurse or doctor. This in itself is an expensive feature. The drug itself is quite costly, running into hundreds of dollars for a dose. Secondly, injecting HGH poses a risk of overdose, even when being monitored by a physician. Overdose of HGH is very dangerous as it can lead to serious complications such as heart disease and palpitations. Thirdly, injections are very inconvenient. One has to spare a lot of time to visit the doctor or receive a visiting physician. Some people are naturally averse to have something sharp piercing their veins.
A new way has been developed to administer HGH safely to the average person without the involvement of a doctor. The HGH spray is now counted as one of the most popular ways to intake HGH. Sprays, unlike injections do not contain HGH directly. They contain precursor amino acids. In other words, they contain the amino acids that will be used by the pituitary gland to produce HGH. HGH nasal and mouth sprays spread the amino acid molecules over the thin epidermal cells of the mouth and nose. They are rapidly absorbed into the bloodstream (like alcohol is absorbed). From the bloodstream, the amino acids easily reach the brain where they encourage the pituitary to produce HGH.
Thus, unlike injections, sprays present no risk of overdose. Moreover, there is no need for the intervention of a medical practitioner. In addition, the amino acid components of the spray are not as expensive as the HGH molecule themselves (which require complex recombinant DNA technology and costly laboratory equipment to produce).
With HGH sprays, there is also lowered risk of any side effects. This is because, with sprays, HGH is produced naturally by the pituitary gland. Large quantities are not injected at one go. HGH is a molecule that is produced is small pulses by the pituitary gland (not in large quantities). Moreover, HGH remains for a very short time in the body. With injections, however, these two important aspects are not respected. Sprays encourage the pituitary to produce more HGH but the mechanism of release is not affected. The same short pulse-type release is maintained. There is therefore no risk of side effects or overdose.
HGH sprays have now made HGH treatment and replacement therapies more affordable and convenient. People can now use this product even without prescription since it does not contain the active ingredient HGH per se. Our elders now can have a cheap source of this magical product that will stabilize the state of ageing by halting some of its effects. HGH sprays bring all the benefits of HGH such as reduced fat mass, increased lean mass, decreased skin wrinkling without any of the disadvantages associated with overdose and side effects. This miraculous new administration method is wonderful for everyone in need of HGH.
