As in other injection based treatments you will experience swelling, redness, softness and sometimes bruising. These conditions would wear off between 4 – 14 days. Just after the treatment your cosmetic physician would provide you with a cold compression to be applied on the areas of treatment to reduce swelling as redness.
Though it is safe and does not have adverse reactions on your skin, avoid Sculptra should you have any of these conditions. Autoimmune disease and a history of keloid scarring, history of severe allergy or anaphylaxis, known bruising or bleeding disorders, is under the prescription of Anticoagulant and immunosuppressant drugs, suffering any active skin infection or inflammation in the treatment area, allergic to any ingredient of Sculptra. It is best not to undergo treatments if you are pregnant or breastfeeding as well.
