The Top Reasons Why We Should Be Using Natural Skincare Products

Posted: Dec 01, 2010 |

What kind of creams and lotions do you use on your skin these days? Are you using natural skincare products? If not, you should be! You see, most of the products on the market these days are full of chemicals and additives that can be potentially harmful to your skin.

Let's face it, most cosmetic companies are in it strictly for the money and using chemicals is both cheaper and easier. It also costs money to research natural products to determine their effectiveness as a skincare ingredient.

However, there are some excellent companies out there that are dedicated to research and development in order to find the best possible natural skincare products.

Most consumers will get their skin creams and lotions from the local drug store or department store. But, chances are that you will not find an effective product though.

You have to look outside the box to find a quality natural cream or lotion. Most of the small niche companies that make them are found on the internet and most consumers have access to the internet now.

Creating a natural cream or lotion costs more than a chemical based one does. So, usually these companies have to be committed to their customers because they will not have as large a profit margin as some of the larger cosmetic companies.

Let's look at some of the most effective natural ingredients used in the top natural skincare products these days.

You have probably not heard of some of these ingredients but they are clinically proven to be very effective at reducing the signs of aging.

Phytessence Wakame is an extract from a specific type of Japanese sea kelp that has been used for hundreds of years to heal the skin. It is rich in antioxidants and is also responsible for helping to stimulate the regrowth of important skin proteins.

Natural oils such as Avocado oil are very effective as ingredients in the best natural skincare products. Avocado oil penetrates deep into the skin and helps to keep the skin moisturized without leaving a greasy residue on the skin.

Now the rest is up to you. Will you take the time and try natural skincare products?
