In the quest for youthfulness John Q. Public has been the proverbial guinea pig.

It is true.  For the past ten years or more injections that plump and paralyze have become the mainstay of many physicians including plastic surgeons, derms and now even OB/GYN's, dentists and proctologists have jumped on the cash cow bandwagon to fatten their wallets.

There is no end in sight even though warning bells have been rung to alert users that these injections may have hidden drawbacks with serious consequences that aren't readily identified.

Certainly the public has been warned that Botox migrates to the brain but what you may not realize is that if you choose certain plumping injections, you are receiving cadaver material that has been hopefully sterilized and then reconstituted so it can be injected.

Where do these cadavers come from?  Are they the degenerates that fall dead on the street or drug addicts that donate their bodies to science?

Are you certain that the injections you are choosing will not have long-term ramifications that might prove injurious to your well being and good health?

Do you cringe when you read the list of possible side effects that you are asked to sign before receiving treatment?

Does it concern you that the injecting physician may not have adequately covered the list of contraindications or uncovered your medical conditions because you desperately want to stop nasal labial folds and your furrowed forehead?

Granted these injections can temporarily stop you from frowning and they can plump areas where folds and wrinkles have developed.  Having these treatments once is not enough and in just a few short months, most likely you will begin thinking about repeating the injections as the plumping and paralyzing effects wane.

Let's say that you require two or three bouts of injections per year.  Are you prepared to use injections for the next twenty or thirty years?  Are you willing to spend thousands and thousands of dollars on temporary, dangerous fixes?  Where does it end?

What if your health suffers and you are no longer a candidate for this type of intervention?  Now what are you going to do?

Facial plastic surgery is yet another option that many people want to believe will keep them looking younger than their years, enrich their careers and lift their spirits.  This is not necessarily so because many procedures will indeed alter your appearance but do you look younger or do you just look done?

Surgeries are permanent yet temporary.

You read that right.  Even though your healthy face may be cut and sutured, the look of old will begin to creep back into the mirror as the real cause and culprit of an aging face has not been remedied or addressed.

Carefully study your face.  What is it that makes you look old?

Do you see hooded eyes, concentration marks between your eye brows, jowls and pouches along your jaw line, a double chin or the dreaded wattle, cheeks sliding into your jaw so there is no distinction of contour, or nose to mouth lines and down turned mouth corners that resemble the marionette dolls of yore?

You probably see sagging muscles in your body in the form of loose skin in your upper arms, hips that are sliding down the back of your leg and an expanding waistline.

The real cause of aging begins with sagging, droopy, soft muscles.

When the face is affected by atrophied muscles the muscles begin to slide downward and pool into other muscles.  This is when you see wrinkles and the look of old developing on your face.

If you are willing to spend a few minutes a day in front of a mirror, you can master a simple exercise routine that can produce the results you desire without resorting to costly injections or risky surgeries.

Most people want to look ten years younger and users agree that this is possible when using isometric with resistance movements.  Slow, steady, consistent and deliberate actions can change the shape and contour of your face.

Without drugs or surgery or side effects you can indeed turn back the clock and look like you again with a toned, tightened and lifted face.
