You may disagree with me, but hear me out... preventative maintenance is always the easiest and simplest option.

Believe me, I'm speaking from experiencing bad sunburn myself several times when I was a teenager. My skin has never recovered fully, and it never will. So the number one preventative action to take is never get badly sunburned. Always use protective cream, cover up and wear a hat outdoors.
Lying in the sun half the day getting frizzled up to get a tan is ridiculous nowadays. We all know the consequences, particularly if you're fair skinned. If you've ever seen anyone who's had a melanoma cut out of his or her face, you'll realize it's not a good option.
The second most important thing to do is moisturize your skin. Normal day-to-day environmental living activities will cause your skin to dry out; it makes good sense to put moisture and oils back in daily.
Third, do a preventative daily skin care routine; it only takes 5-10 minutes morning and night. Wash and cleanse your skin, tone or use a skin cream containing a toner, then use a good quality moisturizing cream. Surely 5 to 10 minutes out of 24 hours isn't too much to ask!
Taking the above simple actions before you get wrinkles will make a big difference, as you get older.
