We also produce period costumes, accessories and furniture, as well as architectural embellishments. We have twenty-five years of experience producing arms and armour, and have provided pieces fordifferent clients including various Museums around Europe. We also provide rental items for television, film and magazines. If you have a specific request, we will be happy to custom make any piece to meet your requirments. At the Historical Arms and Armour Institute, we educate and teach all that one needs to know about period arms and armour, how it was made, how it works, what was its function, when it was used, who used such armour and weapons, etc. A New Adult course on the production of authentic Arms and armour, have been launched since the year 2007 by the Historical Arms & Armour institute the first of its kind in Europe. This course is spanned over 3 years and we are on the 3rd year now. Our students have learned how to make maille armour, shields, padded armour and other interesting pieces. Have also learned a lot about Arms and Armour in general and of course a comprehensive study of historical battles, war tactics, and function of siege weapons. In 1451 a new Sultan, Mahomet II, came to the Turkish throne and swore to capture Constantinople. He trained an army of fighters called ‘janissaries’ and engaged a Hungarian engineer to cast guns which proved to be the world’s largest; one was nearly eight metres long and fired a 545 kilogram ball. Within two years he was ready and by April 1453 his army was ready to attack.

In 1737 the Chevalier Andrew Ramsay wrote an ‘Oratioii, which, although never delivered, was widely circulated among French Freemasons in the 1740s.
