Treasure Hunters Roadshow

The question arises when a company pays out to local residents in large and small cities country wide; Do I have to worry about a bounced check, or will my check bounce when I take it to the bank with the Treasure Hunters Roadshow? They are here for a week and then gone the next. Well we dug deeper into this question to find some answers.

We talked with hundreds of different sellers all attending the Treasure Hunters Roadshow events countrywide and asked a little about their experience and to see what happens AFTER the Roadshow has left and they have your items. Tony Steeles of Minnesota said that he had an extensive coin collection that he brought into the Treasure Hunters Roadshow and here is his comment, “I was pretty skeptical at first because I have all these coins, I have waited for an hour and I kind of know what they are worth. After the expert reviewed my items they gave me an extremely fair offer almost double of what the pawn shops offered me. So I ended up selling and walked out with just a little over $4,000.

After realizing when I got home that I had a check from this company that travels all over I immediately went to Chase Bank which is where they have their accounts held and cashed my check. No problems what so ever everything cashed fine, which was a relief because what would I have done if my check bounced?” Needless to say Tony was happy with his results and there is one good comment so far about this Antique Treasure Hunters Roadshow.

Our next local had a little different story when it came to the Treasure Hunters Roadshow, Miss Patty Loveland of Tennessee had been collecting antiques all her life! She was really being affected by the downturn of the economy so she decided she was ready to part with some of these collectibles and when she heard about the Treasure Hunters Roadshow coming to town she thought that would be the perfect opportunity to get some extra money and get rid of a few of her collectibles.

When she arrived she signed in and waited just like the rest of the sellers. She was then able to get in front of an expert and after about 30 minutes they had told her that they didn’t have any collectors for one of her end tables she had brought in. She did however have a mechanical bank and an old truck that she has had since she was a little girl. After several calls to a few of the Roadshows collectors they ended up buying her mechanical bank for $800 and her toy truck for $625. So with a $1425 and about 20 lbs lighter Patty left the Treasure Hunters Roadshow and immediately headed to the bank. She stated “I have been around for years and I know how companies can do you wrong and you just can’t trust everyone out there now a days.” She went to her bank and deposited her check with no problem. 5 days later the money cleared her account and she was able to pay off a couple of bills that had been piling up.

She was thrilled with the Treasure Hunters Roadshow because she stated “where else was I going to take these items and sell them? I tried an Antique Mall but they offered me $400 for both my items and I knew they were worth more than that!” So yet again another positive story from the largely talked about Antique Treasure Hunters Roadshow!! So if you are thinking about visiting the Roadshow when they come to your town, don’t worry about having any issues with your checks bouncing or having a bad check, they are one of the ones you can trust!

In 1451 a new Sultan, Mahomet II, came to the Turkish throne and swore to capture Constantinople. He trained an army of fighters called ‘janissaries’ and engaged a Hungarian engineer to cast guns which proved to be the world’s largest; one was nearly eight metres long and fired a 545 kilogram ball. Within two years he was ready and by April 1453 his army was ready to attack.
