Vintage Posters carry the essence of “times gone by”. Usually more than 50 years in age or older, these Posters display society and its various aspects in an art form. While there were hundreds of posters produced in editions, only a handful survived in their original state.
The facts corresponding to the rarity, condition, artist, and the image itself of a poster determine the final selling price. While some prefer Vintage Posters with a specific subject matter, some buyers look for particular color scheme; and still others prefer the style of a particular Vintage Poster artist.
But, in all circumstances, the better the physical condition of a poster is the higher its value.

In the mid-1960's I purchased a 4-poster set from LOOK magazine that came mailed to me in a tube from Cowles in DesMoine, Iowa. The set includes Norman Rockwell prints of Robert F. Kennedy and Nelson Rockefeller, and photographic prints of John F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King. These posters have never been folded and are in mint condition in the original packaging.
