The Diamond Iceman

If you have shot the Diamond Iceman or even been around someone who was shooting one I do not have to tell you how quite and recoil free the bow is.  The Iceman with Bowtech’s Center Pivot technology brings unbelievable accuracy, speed, and silence all together to make the ultimate bow.  From its sleek slim grip to it’s masterfully designed rotating module solo cam it is an engineering masterpiece that any archer would be glad to own.

The Diamond Iceman’s revolutionary solo cam gives it a smooth as silk draw with super efficient speeds while keeping a rotating module which gives a giant 7 inches of draw length adjustment all with just the turn of an allen wrench.  This means a bow that shoots extremely fast but pulls back truly wonderful, a draw curve that is smooth as silk and you can enjoy and shoot for hour with a lot less fatigue then most bows in that speed class.  On top of that,  it has a rotating module that with just taking a screw out and sliding the module around you can easily customize the draw in half inch increment all the way from 24”-30” with no bow press needed.  This cam is a work of art for the archery world and something unique to the Diamond Iceman.

The Diamond Iceman’s riser comes from its big brother company Bowtech.  It is called a center pivot design and greatly reduces recoil and also torque which maximizes forgiveness in how the bow shoots.   The riser design also features a slim grip which helps with torque as well.  The riser blends functionality with comfortably to make a great shooting experience.

The Iceman has some stats that make it a forgiving bow but with some mobility in mind as well.  The brace height on the bow is a generous 7 1/8” make easily repeatable and torque free.  It has An Axle to Axle of 31 ½” making it maneuverable in tight places but still not so short that you lose forgiveness.  An IBO Rating of 310-318 feet per second giving it great Kinetic Energy at 78.6 foot pounds almost double which is needed on a big game animal.  And with all of this it is paired with an easily adjustable let off system that is adjustable from 65% to 80% so you can find the most comfortable and accurate place for your shooting style.

The Diamond Iceman is a great bow that harnesses many breakthroughs in today’s archery technology.  It is no wonder that Outdoor life magazine rated the Diamond Iceman extremely while and gave it their covenanted reader’s choice product award for 2009.  This bow would be a great shooter for any archer and one that archer was sure to enjoy for years to come.
