10 Myths and lies about tattoos and tattoo artist

  1. Tattoo needles are only one needle. Tattoos are  done with needles that are grouped together in a needle making tool  and soldered in to sets of odd numbers:  3, 7, 9, etc.                                                                                

 2.. Tattoos really bleed a bunch. most of the time the  outline should not bleed and the shading should not  bleed more than a few  minutes.                                                                                

3. Red tattoos fade  It's true in the past red did fade quite a bit faster than other colors,but now all the colors are about the same and stay true for years                                                           

  4.Blue Tattoos . Some people think tattoo ink is blue,as a rule the tattoo outline is black,it can be done in other colors but they do not hold up as well

  5. White ink is more painful. Some people feel white tattoo ink hurts more or that it has to be put in deeper, this is untrue and the idea may come from the fact that white ink is done last when the tattoo is the most soar.

6.. Tattooing Hurts. Okay maybe this is not a myth but a tattoo does not have to a painful thing, if you relax and take your time finding a great artist with a good bed side manner the pain can be managed.

  7. Tattoo artists are pricks. Like anybody who works with the public tattoo artists are exposed to people at there best and at there worst, some tattoo artist let these experiences turn them into negative people, it happens but not all tattoo artist are rude.

                   8. Tattooing is easy. Tattooing is a skill that takes years of practice. Real tattoo artists go through an apprenticeship before being allowed to work on customers.A good tattoo artist will not take his work light and would never consider it easy                                                             

                   9. Tattoos are  very expensive.No not really compared to a purse or shoes tattoos never go away and you only pay for them once, no payments, unless you charged your tattoo.                                                       

 10. Tattoos last forever. Forever is as short as a few hundred dollars and a few laser treatments, no longer a life time of regret. Laser tattoo removal hurts like crazy but is amazing in its ability to completely without scarring remove all traces of an unwanted tattoo
