Ninjago Weekend - 5 & 6 February
Let the Epic Battle Between Good & Evil Commence with LEGO Ninjago!
Celebrate the launch of the newest addition to the LEGO range - the Spinjitzu ninjas. The weekend of activities perfect for kids six plus will involve a sticker and activity pack giveaway, plus the opportunity for guests to get involved with a Ninjago spinning challenge!
Star Wars Weekend - 12 & 13 March
The ultimate weekend for family and LEGO fans who have always dreamed of having their picture taken with a stormtrooper!
Entry will be free all weekend for children who come dressed in costume - guests won't be alone as there will be experts on hand to show how it's really done. Other activities will include treasure hunts to spot the Star Wars characters hidden in MINILAND, along with free tickets on offer for the best costume of the day!
Visitors can also take home a limited edition brick - perfect for those with a budding collection.
First birthday party - 22 March
Look out for your invite to the birthday celebration of the year.
There promises to be balloons, a children's disco and of course lots of birthday cake. Plus, we are searching for children across the North West who were born on the 22 March to come and share in the celebrations.
Merlin's Apprentice - Easter
Huge news for 2011 at the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre is the new ride. Enter Merlin's magical potion room and discover a LEGO wizard's world of spells and sorcery. Round and round you go, pedal as fast as you can to help Merlin conjure his magic - can you reach the skies and become Merlin's top wizarding apprentice?

Easter Fun - 9 - 25 April
Forget chocolate this Easter is all about LEGO.
For a whole month the centre will be a LEGO eggstravaganza. Guests can join the LEGO Easter egg hunt throughout the attraction, learn how to build easter LEGO models in the model builder's workshop, have their faces painted and of course take home a limited edition brick.
Pirates Weekend - 21 - 22 May
Landlubbers will be given the chance to dust down their peg leg and eye patches in return for free admission to the attraction. There will of course be a treasure hunt with gold coins and loot bags aplenty along with the ultimate pirate ship build in the model builder's workshop.
LEGO Racers events - 4 - 15 July
Launching in July the much-awaited Disney Cars 2 will also see the launch of LEGO's best Cars range yet.
To celebrate this exciting month the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre will be one of the first in the UK to showcase the new product whilst guests take part in a very special LEGO Racers Build and Test competition with certificate giveaway.
Halloween - 15 - 31 October
The LEGO pumpkins are back!
In 2010 the LEGO pumpkins in the model builder's workshop and this year they are huge! Plus Professor Frankenbrick will return to show guests how the special limited edition Halloween bricks are made.
Visitors will also be invited to take part in the ghost hunt to discover which of MINILAND's buildings are haunted this year.
