Just like in real life if a restaurant has good publicity (Buzz) the more people will think it is cool to go there. So, the higher your Buzz number, the more people will pile into your restaurant at the same time, turning up the heat on your profit potential.
Buzz ratings reflect your customer's experiences at your restaurant. You have to make sure that you set-up your cafe so your customers have a great time and spread the buzz. Buzz ratings are simple but can make a huge difference to your cafe.

Your customers have a good experience - your buzz rating will go up.
Your customers have a bad experience - your buzz rating will go down.
Good customer experiences increase your Buzz ratings when a customer pays for his or her food. Not only do you get coins in your till but also if your customers enjoyed their experience and they will reward you with a little buzz. They have had a good experience resulting in your buzz rating going up by 0.1.
Your buzz rating will only ever increase by 0.1.
It has nothing to do with the dish being served or how fast it was served to the customer. The only way your buzz goes up is when your customer pays you.
Bad customer experiences however can occur for many reasons all resulting in you losing buzz rating. So watch your customers and make sure you make changes to stop getting bad buzz.
If a customer walks into your cafe and then:
Waited too long for a seat.
Waited to long to be served and get their food.
They will have had a bad experience and will leave you with a lower buzz.
So, if you are able to keep your customers happy your buzz rating will go up. This in turn will bring your cafe a flood of hungry customers.
The way you set-up your cafe will effect the way you will move up the levels so it is imperative to get it correct and learn from your mistakes.
