Canvas Prints: Epson Printers

A lot of factors are responsible for creating an artistic canvas print. The material used, the technology applied and the photographer's skills, all come together for making that one of a kind masterpiece. An important but humble contributor to the success of the canvas prints is a printer. It does the vital job of transforming an image to an unforgettable canvas print photograph, and that too, by remaining silent!

The main question you would have here is- which printer should a photographer use? Out of all the inkjet printer brands available, the Epson brand is highly recommended by photo print companies worldwide. And why is that? The Epson Stylus Color Printer was launched in 1994 and proved to be great technology advancement. It provided a crisp printing quality that can match a photograph. Canvas print photos are made full of life with this printer.

It is not that the other existing brands have not improved over the years. They have their own research labs for the same. But the fact is that Epson has lead the printer market due to its cutting edge technology and been the first choice of photographers and artists. The outcome of a canvas print is very much dependent on the printer. If the printer used gives excellent quality photo prints, the efforts involved are justified.

Let us have a look at the various features of an Epson printer that produces vibrant canvas print photos.

Some of them are:

• The Epson Printer delivers reliable print results with its praiseworthy high quality print head technology.

• It makes use of high density inks along with the new Vivid Magenta Ink know-how.

• Image processing of a canvas print is done with Epson Super Halftone Screening technique.

• This inkjet printer utilizes bigger size ink cartridges that don't get over in the middle of a print job.

• Canvas print sizes can be had in various widths of 44", 24", 36" or 17" in cut sheet or roll mode.

• Probably the most attractive feature is the printer's ability to print directly on canvas with a thickness of 1.5 mm too. Thus, the image is converted to a canvas print with lesser efforts.

• It has an in-built automated media cutting system. Keep in mind that this feature should not be used frequently in case of very thick fine art papers.

• The print engine functions at a higher speed than earlier.

• This printer also comes with a user-friendly back lit LCD screen, from where you can operate most of the printer functions.

• The printer uses pressurized ink cartridge tools.

• Some models also have cassette feed mechanism.

• The printer can be bought with the take-up unit if needed, as it helps in keeping up the best quality and high volume of printing jobs.

From the above features it will be clear to you that a canvas print cannot be complete without a printer, which should obviously be Epson. It has a wide array of models to choose from that provide practicality and bright quality canvas print photos.
