The Walt Disney World Resort not only offers the excitement inside the theme park but also provide outdoor fun in Downtown Disney. Downtown Disney is an outdoor entertainment, dinning, and shopping area of Walt Disney World Resort. Until the 1989 it was only a simple market place and was popular as Disney Village Marketplace. Later entertainment centers like Pleasure Island and west side were opened and with Marketplace the area was collectively renamed as Downtown Disney. The entry in the marketplace and West Side are free but for an admission in Pleasure Island one need to purchase Pleasure Island Tickets.
Pleasure Island is an entertainment complex which is famous for its nightlife and features seven wonderful nightclubs. These seven nightclubs are ‘the Comedy Warehouse’, ‘Adventure’s Club’, ‘BET Soundstage’, ‘8TRAX (features 70’s & 80’s music)’, ‘Motion’, ‘Techno’, and ‘Mannequins Dance Palace (feature revolving dance floor and trance music)’. Pleasure Island Tickets also provide best opportunities for shopping and dinning.
