Dylan McDermott has a long history of playing lawyers in TV and movies. This specialty of his is making him perfect for shows like The Practice and Dark Blue. McDermott's career grew slowly but his first big gig was The Practice where he played a lawyer. A TNT movie, Dark Blue, saw him again playing a lawyer. The Forum on Law, Culture & Society, a forum at Fordham University Law School, has invited him as a guest to lead conversations in law and popular culture.

McDermott was a guest at a Forum conversation in April of 2011. His seven seasons experience on The Practice as a lawyer that struggled with morality in the law made him the perfect guest.
