Former American Idol contestant, writes original song about Love and Redheads!!!

So many times people who have tasted fame desire more. Their reasoning and rationale for this continual craving are normally driven by self-serving motives. One listen to the story and music of Sean McNeill and it becomes evident that this up-and-coming musician has an altogether different agenda with the message that he has to share.

McNeill began a would-be road to fame in 2003 like thousands of other Americans this decade on the hit television series American Idol. McNeill’s voice stood out to judges Randy Jackson, Paula Abdul and Simon Cowell. So much so that Sean found himself alongside finalists such as Bo Bice and eventual 2004 winner Carrie Underwood. The top 50 was as far as McNeill would see the competition through too and in his mind, other pursuits were calling.

Just five short years later, music is once again calling as a focal point in McNeill’s life. Currently leading worship at (The Bridge) in hard-nosed Akron, Ohio, McNeill’s desire to have his voice heard as a solo artist has begun to blossom. McNeill's music is fresh, full of hope, and love and has just released a brilliant acoustic 5 song EP with songs such as the thought-provoking and stirring “Don’t Be Left Behind”, which created a buzz on local radio, at Cleveland’s 95.5 the Fish, and the playful and up-beat “Autumn” that speaks to anyone looking for that special someone. His song “Redhead” written about his wife, has created a stir everywhere among redheads who have heard the tune.  To download any of Sean’s songs, go to http://www.digstation.com/SeanMcNeill  . God has taught him to rest and abide in him and now Sean has begun to make a noticeable splash on the Northeast Ohio music scene, the most recent and heralded appearance at the ALIVE Festival 2009, one of the largest Christian Music Festivals in the United States. Sean will be doing a special performance on June 20th, the final night ALIVE 09. For more information on ALIVE 09 go to www.alive.org McNeill is currently working on writing more music and continues to look for inspiration from life's twists and turns, knowing that a second trip to the top focused on presenting a voice of hope, love and sincerity.
