Just a week from now, Grey's Anatomy star Katherine Heigl will be walking down the aisle to pledge her vows of marriage to her fiancé, musician Josh Kelley. Despite the ceremony being small and intimate, the 29-year-old actress promises that the event, which is to take place two days before Christmas, will be very romantic.

"I kind of love it," Heigl said to Access Hollywood's Nancy O'Dell. "It wasn't my original idea. I originally wanted a more fall wedding back East, but I've end up really falling in love with the idea. I think it's going to be super romantic."

The wedding is set in Utah , where the couple are to exchange traditional vows instead of personal ones. The matrimonial ceremony will be witnessed by a relatively small group of guests, as Heigl wants only "close friends and family – people that I have a real relationship with to be there."

Katherine Heigl added that not all of her Grey's Anatomy co-stars will be there to see her in her wedding dress, also due to the holiday season.

"Not everybody, because it's a really hard time of year," she said. "I actually almost felt bad asking people because I didn't want anyone to feel pressure to be there but I just really wanted everyone to know they were included."

As for her dress, Heigl is keeping quiet about who designed it, but she promises that it will definitely complement her body shape.

"I picked a dress that I felt worked best for my body," she explained. "It's a silhouette. I kind of do all the time… I really love that old Hollywood vibe, so I kind of always stick with that."

After the wedding and reception, the newlyweds will be heading to the beach for their honeymoon, but the Grey's Anatomy star won't be spilling any beans on the exact location, as she doesn't want the paparazzi trailing close behind.

"I'm so sort of not smart about that because I never think that they would actually go there. You know," she said. "They're like ‘See you there,' I'm like ‘What? Please don't take pictures of me in a bathing suit. Please don't do that to me.'"
