It's Against Sharia Law to Gamble and Take on Debt - These are Fundamentals of Islam

 In many cases the two sets of law are in such conflict and so diametrically opposed that there is little possibility of a merger of the minds for our civilizations. Thus, many have predicted continued animosity between Christians and Muslims, and between Middle Eastern culture and Western Culture. This shouldn't be very surprising to anyone who has studied the history of the last 3,500 years.

Now then, whereas, there are many wise codes of conduct within Sharia law, and many similarities, it is those things which are different that cause much fear for those in Western Cultures. Things like honor killings are quite shocking to the unfamiliar Westerners. And then there are many other things that don't bother us much, for instance if Muslims living in the Western World choose not to borrow money, gamble, drink alcohol, or eat meat from hoofed animals, well, that's perfectly acceptable and their right to choose.

Now then, I ask another question - one which may not be asked in our society, but one we should be asking; Is there more to the fact that the Obama Administration is working to nationalize the banking industry, prevent people from going to Las Vegas? Will we see more "sin taxes" on alcohol in the US? Will we see more regulation in the livestock of pigs and cattle in the US?

President Obama promises all Americans that he is not a Muslim, but in Islam if your father is or was a Muslim then you are a Muslim too. Just like in the Jewish faith if your mother is or was Jewish then you are too. That's how it works, whether one admits it, denies it, or discharges themselves from their heritage, lineage, culture, and/or religion. It just is.

Now then, that's not good or bad and in the US we have freedom of religion, so it shouldn't matter anyway and no one should have to deny their faith, culture, or religion. Every American should stand firm for their heritage, religion, and faith - it's okay, but if an American is afraid to, or has to hide that, then we have a problem, and indeed, the individual who feels they must also has a problem, and that is the real challenge.

No one should have to deny who their parents were, what religion they were, or where they came from. In some regards such issues are a duality of fault. The fault of society to accept other cultures, and religions as promised, and the fault of the individuals to mislead or hide from view the reality for fear of losing upward mobility or opportunity if they reveal the truth. How we as a society address these issues is so very important, and how each of us individually chooses to act is also quite important.

For the record, I have Mayflower ancestry, Royal lines, and that puts me in jeopardy of being treated poorly, by those who choose to blame my genes, or my ancestry for preventing other groups from having equal opportunity. Now, in the present period, I see much animosity towards my genes, and perceived views of my ancestors and even living gene lines from controlling the upward mobility of all other races. This is not so, and certainly not in my case, I see it as reverse discrimination, and I see it as quite dangerous to the individual, namely me.

Okay so, what we have a divide amongst our citizens, one we have not properly addressed. I see racism on all sides. I also agree with a former Obama Administration leader who stated; "America is chicken when it comes to discussing race," or something to that effect, indeed, he's right, I see it perfectly. In fact, I remember when he said that, the news media picked it up right away and ran stories on it, as if it was a race-baiting tactic. So, what we see is that we are unable to discuss these things, which means they are sure to go on.

Now then, the purpose of this article is not to call foul on President Obama for his public denials of being Muslim, but rather the reality that he couldn't admit it, even if he was, or is - do you see that point? And in all this we must also be very careful that we do not allow one group or culture to impede on another, whether it is Western Culture in the Middle East or Middle Easterners in Western Society. Each individual needs to know self, trust self, and be proud of who they are. Each individual needs to be free to practice their religion and culture as long as it doesn't harm anyone else.

If we don't get back to what we believe in, there will be a growing divide here as the world gets closer together. Let's commit to not allowing that to happen, but let's also force our views upon another culture or their nation's laws, otherwise we are hypocrites.
