NBS delivered some good news. While the return of the other shows remains uncertain up to this point, the network has confirmed that it has already renewed its contracts with the shows Life, Chuck and Heroes.
NBC Entertainment and Universal Media Studios co-chairman Ben Silverman and Marc Graboff announced that all three shows will be re-launched. "We are thrilled to be bringing back the high-energy dramas Chuck and Life for next season," said Silverman. "Additionally, we will be saving and re-launching our #1 drama and most successful franchise, Heroes, so that it will run in all original episodes in the fourth quarter."
Graboff also shared his sentiments on the favored shows. “These pickups are a sign of our confidence in these quality series and will allow the respective producers to get a head start on their creative arc for next season," he said. "As a result, they give us a lot to build on as we point to next year's schedule."
Life, created by Rand Ravich, is a crime/suspense TV series about a former police officer who was imprisoned for a crime he didn’t commit. After being freed from the prison, the detective returns to the force and is given a second chance.
Chuck, on the other hand, is a sci-fi comedy about a computer geek who accidentally downloaded confidential government information into his very own brain. His friend from college, now a CIA, tries to protect him while Chuck works as a secret agent for him.
Heroes is a sci-fi drama adventure about a group of teenagers who thought they were just like everybody else until they wake up with extraordinary abilities and are given the responsibility of saving the world. This Emmy and Golden Globe nominated epic drama is created and written by Tim Kring.
Loyal followers of the above-mentioned series will have to wait till next year for the new episodes. But given the success of the previous episodes, the viewers will certainly not mind waiting and will definitely remain excited for the return of the shows.
