When planning a party and choosing a Christmas party venue, the main purpose is to put up a relaxing environment which at the same time opens the door for your guests to savour the spirit of the festivity. Choose the right colour scheme and the proper Yuletide centrepiece. The aura of the season: logs crackling in the fireplace, snow falling covering the landscape, the expectation of Saint Nick, aroma associated with Christmas, the yummy taste of newly-baked cookies. Your decoration increases the senses of smell and taste to bring back good memories, as well as, creating new memories for family and guests. You must try these recipes: Christmas Castle, Christmas Cookie Tree, Ginger Shortbread Delights and Mocha Nog. Festive centre pieces are easy to make. Silver Star atop a tiny Christmas tree is a good one or candles positioned beside glasses and plates are eye-catching centrepieces.

Like any project, successful parties have to be planned. After deciding on the Christmas party venue, send invitations at least three weeks ahead of schedule. This way, you will know how many guests are committed to attend. Invitations include: date, time and place; enumerate the food that will be served whether light fare or heavy dinner.

Menu includes appetizers and sweet treats you can prepare in advance. You can even concoct recipes and place them in fridge a few days ahead. Do not try new recipes, better stick to your masterpiece. Finger foods do not require much dinnerware. If you prefer to serve food that require forks and knives; then prepare for a sit down affair. To save on washing and cleaning up dishes, opt for a nice- looking plastic ware that would be thrown away after in the trash box.

Proper placement will decrease traffic flow of guests. Bar is placed near ice and water. Plates with platters of finger foods and buffets are placed on entertainment area. Prepare adequate number of chairs so most of your guests are seated. Scatter trash cans inconspicuously in eating area for scraps to be disposed.

Music can enliven any occasion so play an appropriate back ground. With lighted candles all over the place, Christmas spirit is in the air. You might prepare a guest book for guests to write a holiday message. Singing Christmas carols is a beautiful finale.  And don't forget party favours for the guests like an ornamented bag filled with candies or cookies or a candy cane with a red bow.

Your invitations are the first impressions you give your guests so make one that makes an impression. Don't rely on phone calls or buy invitation cards. Make one using the party theme as background. A personal touch is a photo of your party last year or your family dressed in holiday attire. The artistic family member might draw nativity scene which your computer can print in cards. You can set the mode by using a holiday music CD and writing party details on its label and deliver inside a bubble-wrap envelope. An invitation with hand-crafted style is awesome. Buy holiday stamps in conjunction with your theme to custom- make your invitations. If however, you are too busy to make one, buy nice note cards and handwrite your invitation in black ink.

Boxing Day is Christmas celebration in merry old England. This occasion gave workmen in old England time to celebrate the occasion. Decorate table with pine boughs, holly, mistletoe and other symbols of the Season. Wrap small boxes with metallic and holiday papers and décor and offer small gifts for guests to open after dinner. Write invitation on piece of paper and fold it then place in a small wrapped box to hand-deliver to guest. Include in menu - English toffee.

On red-letter day ensure that everything is ship-shape. Anticipate guests comfort by placing appetizers all over living room and buffet table. Play music and light candles for Yuletide ambiance. Greet your guests and place their belonging inside closet. Introduce them t o each other. Accept gifts graciously and place in discreet place. Mix with your guest and enjoy the party. Christmas parties are not only for guests but for you. When hosting Christmas Events in Staffordshire you can look into venues like the Keele Salvin Suite as it is a very appropriate Christmas party venue for all kinds of people.

The office is practically our second home. We spend nearly half the day working in this space. If the office is well-decorated, employees are more likely to be satisfied and happy in working there. If the current state and design of the office is very uninspiring, it is time to think about office refurbishment.
