Resident Evil: Afterlife Movie Review
Milla Jovovich, a star of many top rated movies has starred in all the four movies but in Part 4 Anderson has brought in some of seasoned actors from TV.
Taking off from the events of Part 3, Resident Evil: Extinction, Alice Clones (Milla Jovovich) go to Japan to kill Albert Wesker (Shawn Roberts). In an explosion all the clones are killed and Wesker manages to escape in a plane. On being confronted by the original Alice, Wesker injects a serum in her that neutralizes her super powers. The aircraft crashes but Alice emerges safe from it. It seems as a scene often shot for the top 10 movies.
Searching for Arcadia and her lost friends Claire and K-Mart and not able to locate them, Alice believes herself to be lone human on the planet. Alice finds the abandoned helicopter on a beach (to understand the sequence see Part 3, now a top movie).Claire, who is wearing the device of the Umbrella Corp. attacks her but is overpowered by Alice, who discovers that Claire's memory has been damaged by the device and she remembers the previous events vaguely.
In the ruins of Los Angeles they find some survivors and from them learn that Arcadia is a cargo tanker. Among the survivors is Chris (Wentworth Miller), a soldier who knows the way to the coast where they can find Arcadia. Chris recognizes Claire and tells her he is her brother. Not believing him, the duo turn to the tunnel dug by the zombies which can take them to the coast through the sewers. After a hard fought battle between the survivors and the zombies, only Alice, Claire and Chris survive and escape towards the coast, a scene fit for top movies.
They find the abandoned ship which is still functional. Inside they find K-Mart and also Wesker who has been infected by the T-virus but is unable to activate the super powers. In the fight that ensues Wesker manages to escape in a helicopter but activates a bomb which can destroy the ship. But he is unaware that Alice had hidden that bomb on the helicopter. As the bomb explodes, out of sight of the trio, a parachute falls out of the helicopter indicating that perhaps Wesker has survived. This ploy is often used in the top rated movies.
Alice, Claire and Chris are debating on how to make the ship a safer place for the survivors when they see a number of people, led by Jill Valentine (Sienna Guillory) approaching the ship. They notice that Jill is under the influence of the Umbrella Device.
To add more substance to the movie, Anderson and the producers decided to make the film, soon to be among the top 10 movies, in 3D. They will never regret their decision. Anderson has made perfect use of the fusion camera technique developed by James Cameron, maker of the top rated movies. The reception that the film got at the 3D theatres world over was stupendous. The soundtrack is well etched into the narration of the movie. Pity the movie ended in just 90 minutes. The diehard fans that have been watching Alice battling Wesker all these years will have to wait for Part 5 if they wish to see her finally getting his scalp, maybe.

Watch Resident Evil Afterlife now in full high definition quality. It would be a shame to miss such an amazing blockbuster 2010 hit! It is definitely worth the watch!
Resident Evil Afterlife is the fourth film to come out and we who follow zombie lore are all up to speed. But that still does not stop Alice from telling us what's happened. At least that's what I think she was saying because the version I was watching was in Russian and I really don't speak Russian but I was not about to let a small thing like that stop me.
