Shah Rukh Khan returns to TV with a Zor Ka Jhatka!!

~To host the Indian edition of the global blockbuster TV reality show – ‘WipeOut'

Mumbai: Imagine kicks off the new year with a bang promising a massive dose of entertainment.   Starting 2011, Imagine brings together the world's biggest, most successful and most hilarious game show Wipeout and India's biggest and most popular superstar – Shah Rukh Khan in Imagine's new mega-show, Zor Ka Jhatka.

On the show Shah Rukh Khan will take 28 TV stars, outside their comfort zone into the world's biggest obstacle course in Argentina to battle it out. At stake is prize money worth Rs. 1.5 crores, including a mega cash prize of Rs 50 Lakhs for the winner of the finale. In this extremely competitive environment, SRK will challenge these contestants of all ages and varying fitness levels to a series of hilarious tasks and obstacles. From jumping over moving obstacles to bouncing off big balls and dodging swinging pendulums hurled their way! And while the contestants sweat it out, Shah Rukh Khan, will provide his brand of extremely funny, witty and at times even a little nasty commentary on the proceedings and take the fun to a completely new level in this over-the-top competition.

Zor Ka Jhatka combines Shah Rukh Khan's impeccable sense of comedy with a daredevil attitude of stunt shows, for a result that's hilarious and entertaining for the whole family! Known for his comic timing, sharp wit and clever dialogues, Shah Rukh Khan will be the perfect host for the show, and make every fall and every tumble seem even funnier so that audiences sitting at home will be laughing continuously.

Wipeout is a wildly popular international format game show that has been aired successfully across 22 countries including USA, UK and Australia. It will be shot on a one of its kind, massive obstacle course in Argentina.

Announcing the launch of the show Mr Sameer Nair, CEO of Turner General Entertainment Networks India Pvt.
