The Stoics gave definition to Virtue or in other words, Moral Force and the Good. Aristotle discriminated between the commendable virtue, and the Ultimate Good, or Happiness, which, he considered could not be commendable at all. However, Chrysippus preached that the Good itself is commendable, because, as he said the Ultimate Good was the Noble and the Beautiful one ( bonum honestum) or virtue, in other words. Virtue is therefore, at the same time a completely stable expedient and practical knowledge, as well as a greatest force for those who have it and know how to use it and how to take advantage of it. It means that man has already become a complete master of himself by existing in accord with nature and to subdue it . His spirit is not asleep any more, but it is working all the time.
