T2: Judgment Day

This amazing sequel just blew people away when they saw it in theaters in 1991. Fans weren't sure what to expect as they filled the theater but they definitely came out of it after the movie pleased with what they had just seen.

Even a young Edward Furlong in his motion picture debut could ruin what can only be described as the most perfect movie in motion picture history.  With a time traveling story that was equal to or even a little bit better than the original and the special effects that put all other movies to shame since the first Star Wars, it was a blockbuster to end all blockbusters.  Over the years, there have been many versions of this movie, from VHS, LaserDisc, DVD and now the definitive version on Blu-ray.  

So what is different about the new Skynet Edition?  Well, for starters, the movie has never looked this good-ever.  Watching it in HD is like watching it for the first time all over again.  The crisp picture and sound make it look and sound better than it ever has.  The special effects which once left your jaw hanging wide open and unable to blink still look great, but with the HD treatment are not what they once were.  

Doesnt matter though, it still looks better and more original than 90% of every movie released since.  There are plenty of extras, all of the making of shorts and cast and crew interviews are here.  The interactive features add tons of extras.  There is a picture in picture mode that allows you to watch the movie and a small picture with interviews and commentary about the movie.  There is a story-board script mode to sink your teeth into and learn more about the process of making the movie.  

There are some new quizzes and games to play that will test your knowledge of the Terminator universe.  There are some exclusive features that are only available on this new edition, but the main draw is the high definition picture available in the HD disc.  This movie is epic in every way and is completely worth buying one more time, at least until there is a new even better version available in a few years.
