Skinning

Though skinning can be quite dull for most players, it is actually one of the surest and most efficient ways to make to make huge profits quickly.

Skinning is very effective because you can complete it during the course of your travels without having to visit or return to any zone. You can skin as you kill regular mobs.

While the lower level node are usually easy to find and farm, they are really not going to make you a fortune, the higher level nodes are what you really need because they have really profitable herbs like black lotuses, dream foil and so on but they are hard to find especially when someone else is already in the area.

There really isn't any specific place to harvest herbs but at the higher levels, it is much easier in Outland because you can harvest the mobs themselves.

Gold Farming

Gold mining at whatever level is one that requires a bit of guidance, that is why you will find a lot of guides on this out there.

You will of course start mining with copper and though it is the most basic metal out there, it can bring you modest profits. You get about 2 – 3 gold for the ore and 4 gold or more for copper bars, so before you reach level 10, you can sell your stock for about 15 – 20 gold.

That is alright but for real money, you will want to strive for the upper level ores, even though you will find fewer nodes as you progress, there are plenty of them in the early levels.

The major goal is to maximise your mining skill as early as possible and you can also invest about 25 gold into smelting your way to skill level 150 or more.

Because nodes are randomised between a few preset locations, the trick is in knowing where to go in specific zones for nodes. A good gold guide will give a series of map to help you find the nodes.

Some good places to look for nodes are the lower levels are Stranglethorn Vale in the lower levels, followed by Burning Steppes and Un'Goro Crater and in Outland in Nagrand and later Netherstorm.
