My Tennessee Smokey Mountains Paintings

Tennessee Smokey Mountains.
The Tennessee Smokey Mountains is one of my most favorable series. I love the mountains. The subtle beauty brings feelings of tranquility which is soothing to the soul. It seems as if eternity rules here, just sky clouds and mountains. It is God that takes his palette and creates blue skies that stretch beyond the heavens. Majestic mountains stand tall and serene as the seasons pass by. Trees show there colors from breathtaking springtime blooms to the greenest of hot summer greens. The vivid pastel colors of the fall, to the cool grays of winter’s blanket. The serenity I feel as I visit these areas is almost impossible to put into words. It is like touching eternity.
Benton Falls.
I was surprised by a mysterious waterfall I found in a remote area of The Smokey Mountains. The cool damp air surrounded us in the middle of a typical sultry summer. It was a magical place with a canopy of trees thick and dark. Where am I? I was inspired with inexplicable fear. I wanted out of here, but I couldn’t leave. A majestic rock poised over me blocking my way. From the peak of one’s eminence provoking me with conscious superiority, proclaimed, “Stay here with me and enjoy this haven, let the soothing waters calm your fears, let my canopy cool your soul”. As I stood embracing the mystical beauty, the flowing waters bubbling and purling in the milieu, I felt calmness come about me. My fears had subsided.
Bear.
This wonderful creature resides in one of Tennessee’s zoos. While weather is scorching during the summer months the bears have to hunt for shade in their stone arenas. Once the shelter, a man made tent, is completely filled with the burley bears the others must search else where. One lonely bear finds a cliff overhang offering a shadowy escape from the heat. Throwing up his paws in victory he savors the cool stone rubbing against his sun warmed body.

By: Francesca Tessarollo | 17/12/2009
Steel plays an important role in several fields, and the progresses of metallurgy have extended the scopes of this alloy, making steel increasingly used in oil and petrochemical, energy, mining, nuclear and food industries. However, steel is fit also to other, completely different types of processing, as evidenced by some famous works of art, most notably “The Arrow of Light” by Arnaldo Pomodoro, which stands in Corso del Popolo in Terni.

In the last couple of years I have discovered a new game. It is called sudoku and is the ultimate mind challenger. The game is very simple on the surface but boy it can get difficult in a rush.
