Rug Hooking in the 21st Century
Rug Hooking has been a hobby of the ages, and as time has passed Rug Hooking has grown more and more widespread. In the 21st century alot of people rug hook for relaxation and for personal enjoyment. Alot of people take a lot of joy in creating their own work from wool scraps and old canvas. Rug hooking is loved by mostly woman however there are some men who do it.
To create your own work first you need to buy a hook. This hook will be used to pull the wool thru the canvas. Without this hook you will not be able to make your artwork. So when picking out a hook make sure it's a piece t hat you believe will fit your hand well, and withstand the test of time. It's very important for the hook to be durrable because if it breaks your piece will be put on hold until you find a new hook to use. When your piece is on hold you will find that you have an aching to continue producing your rug hook but your unable to.
Rug hooking will probably stay a past time for a long time just because it is such an interesting and unique craft.
