In 1988, Tom Petty left the band and became one of the members to establish Super Group Traveling Wilburys. Apart from Tom Petty, this group included Bob Dylan, Roy Orbinson, George Harrison, and Jeff Lyme. In 1989, Tom Petty released his solo album titled “Full Moon Fever.” It included hit numbers like “Runnin’ Down a Dream,” “Free Fallin’,” and “I Won’t Back Down.”

In 1991, Tom Petty re-united with his band the Heartbreakers. Till today, he continues to tour with this band, making Tom Petty concert tickets one of the most sought after commodities.
